Shop My List is operated by Joseph Bazini (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our app or contact us.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you register or sign in, we collect information needed to create and manage your account, such as your email address, username, and profile information. If you sign in through Google or Apple, we receive the information you authorize that provider to share, which may include your name, email address, and account identifier. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
Information you provide
We store shopping lists, list items, purchase status, store preferences, sharing relationships, shopping-mode activity, and any profile photo you choose to upload. We also receive information you send when requesting support.
Device and technical information
We process device identifiers, push-notification tokens, and technical information needed to operate the app, deliver notifications, maintain security, and troubleshoot problems. We do not collect IP addresses, usage analytics, or crash reports.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and maintain your account.
- Store and synchronize shopping lists across devices.
- Let you share lists and collaborate with other users.
- Deliver notifications about shared-list activity.
- Provide support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security.
- Communicate important service or policy updates.
Shared Lists and Profile Information
When you share a list, other members can see its contents and activity, including changes to items, purchase status, list completion, and shopping mode. Your username and profile information may be visible to users you interact with through the app.
Other users may retain information they have already viewed or copied.
Service Providers and Other Disclosures
We use service providers to operate the app, including hosting, data storage, authentication, and notification delivery. These providers process information needed to perform those services.
The planned setup includes Convex, Google Firebase, Expo, Apple, and Google.
